Instead of throwing out those Tootsie roll wrappers, why not recycle and reuse them to make a bracelet?

Instructions:

  1. Take an old wrapper.

  2. Fold wrapper in half length-wise and then unfold.

  3. Fold edges to meet in the centre.

  4. Repeat last step.

  5. Fold wrapper in half.

  6. Fold it in half the other way and unfold.

  7. Fold edges to meet in the middle.

  8. Make a few first, then continue on to the next steps.

  9. Slip the two edged side on one folded wrapper through the holes formed by the two edges on the second wrapper.

  10. Continue doing this by taking a third wrapper and slipping it through the holes from the second wrapper.

  11. Make a strip that's long enough to fit around your wrist.

  12. Pierce a hole through each end.

  13. Slip two jump rings through one end.

  14. Slip a jump ring and a jewellery clasp at the other end and you're done!

You can also make necklaces and anklets by adding more wrappers!
